If you want an IQ number, start with the culture fair test — it uses only shapes, so your language and education do not distort the result. If you are preparing for a job assessment, go straight to the reasoning tests that match the ones your employer named. If you have five minutes and want something addictive, the brain speed benchmarks are the place to start.
Online tests give a useful estimate, not a clinical diagnosis. A supervised, professionally administered IQ test typically has a standard error of about three to five points; an online test has more, because nobody can control your environment, your distractions or how many times you have taken a similar test before. Treat your score as a range, not a fact.

No. You can take any test straight away. Registration only matters if you want your name on the leaderboard, and even then you just type a nickname.
Scores are built so that 100 is the population average and about two thirds of people fall between 85 and 115. Above 130 is roughly the top 2% of the population.
You can, but expect your score to drift upward on repeat attempts because you have seen the question types before. Your first honest attempt is the most informative one.
Yes. Every test is built to work on a phone screen, including the timed and reaction-based ones. Reaction time is slightly slower on touchscreens than with a mouse.
